Registrar Suzana Valis

Suzana Valis was born in NY, spent a little bit of time living in Texas and ended up in San Diego 1969 and never left. Being raised in San Diego, her elementary, junior high and high school education consisted of various schools within the San Diego Unified School District. For her post-secondary education, she attended City and Mesa Colleges. In 1987 she began working for SDUSD as a Teacher’s Assistant for one year. She left to begin a family and worked in the Mortgage Industry beginning 1991. She returned to SDUSD Fall of 1994 and since that time has been employed as a bilingual School Clerk 1, School Clerk II and High School Registrar. She has served as the following school-site points of contact as Attendance & Enrollment Secretary, VP Secretary & Counseling Secretary. She enjoys and finds satisfaction being of service and helping wherever she can. She loves to spend time with her family and friends as well as her church-family. She likes to give herself self-care time watching movies, forensics and true crime shows, attending concerts, dancing, delving into genealogy, and thrift store/rummage sale shopping.
