Please note that SD Met is NOT part of SDUSD’s School Choice program. We have rolling admissions throughout the year.

Student Hub

The SD Met is a public, student-centered school in the San Diego Unified School District and part of the Big Picture Learning network.

We are located on the campus of San Diego Mesa College, and we leverage our strong relationship with Mesa to provide students with unparalleled college access and preparation. 

Students participate in twice weekly internships that nurture their interests, curiosities, and passions, while giving them valuable real-world work experience. 

At the Met, we believe that every student has unique interests, skills, cultural assets, and learning needs, and as such, our teachers focus on building close relationships with "one student at a time," supporting each student in designing a personally meaningful educational path.
