Sylvia Hoffman went to school in Ohio and received her BSW from the University of Cincinnati and her MBA from Xavier University. She worked for many years in health care as a hospital social worker and later managed a HUD senior housing facility prior to moving to San Diego and working for SDUSD.
She has been an Administrative Assistant for the district since 2008 and at the SD Met High School since 2013. 
In her free time she loves to travel, read, go to plays and movies. She also loves live music events, dancing and being outdoors. She can be reached at [email protected]
